Furhat is designed to give researchers, innovators and explorers the freedom and flexibility they need to conduct research and application development across a wide range of social robotics use cases.

Preben Wik, also known as Ben, is one of the members of the team who created Furhat, one of the world’s most advanced social robots and a co-founder of Furhat Robotics. He worked as an engineer for a long time and he’s a Doctor of Philosophy, having focused on speech communication, which is pretty much what helped Furhat become so skilled in chatting with us all.
